This hall contains paintings made in Venice and the Domini di Terraferma, the hinterland of the lagoon city.
The first compartment contains works on Christian subjects by Titian’s pupil Paris Bordon (1500–1571), Bonifazio Veronese (1487–1553), who was influenced by Titian and Palma Vecchio, and Lorenzo Lotto (1480–1556), one of the most outstanding artists of the Venetian school.
